Turning Tails Pet Company, Ltd will strives to provide a sound, safe, and responsible care for dog(s). It should be understood that there are risks inherent in the provision of pet services, including but not limited to interactions with other dogs and potential exposure to disease and parasites such as but not limited to fleas. Owners are responsible for the actions of their dog(s) at all times and will indemnify and hold harmless Turning Tails Pet Company, Ltd of any and all claims of injury, expense, costs, or damages caused by the actions of their dog while under Turning Tails Pet Company, Ltd care. Owners understand the inherent risks of owning a dog, including but not limited to the risk of dog bites to self or others. Turning Tails Pet Company, Ltd is not responsible for any unintentional errors, omissions, or incorrect assertions.

Vaccination Policy: It is the responsibility of the owner to provide verification of their dog’s vaccination records prior to the delivery of services. Turning Tails Pet Company, Ltd will require that dogs be current on vaccinations such as Rabies, Bordetella and Distemper combination vaccination to include Leptospirosis. Influenza vaccinations are also highly recommended. It is also the responsibility of owners to ensure that their dog is on a flea and tick preventative prior to check-in at the Turning Tails Pet Company, Ltd location. The presence or suspicion of flea or tick infestation must be reported immediately to Turning Tails Pet Company, Ltd staff.

Medical Emergency Treatment Policy: In the event of an emergency, emergency medical care will be provided for dog(s) by their veterinarian, or an appropriate alternate to be determined by Turning Tails Pet Company, Ltd.  Owners will reimburse Turning Tails Pet Company, Ltd for any charges related to emergency care.

Turning Tails Pet Company, Ltd is authorized to administer or seek 1st aid and resuscitation care for dog(s) as determined appropriate by Turning Tails Pet Company, Ltd. Owners agree to indemnify and hold harmless Turning Tails Pet Company, Ltd for all and any results thereof.

Payment Policy: All services are to be paid in full at the time the service is rendered. If unable to make such payment at the time of service rendered, a payment plan will be developed with Turning Tails Pet Company, Ltd to ensure payment is made within ten (10) business days.  Prepayment of all/some of the costs associated with services to be rendered may be required by Turning Tails Pet Company, Ltd. These costs will be provided in advance and payment will be coordinated with Turning Tails Pet Company, Ltd prior to services rendered.

Cancellation Policy: Scheduled appointments should be cancelled no less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled service. In the event that scheduled appointments are not cancelled in the time-frame outlined herein may result in a charge for up to 25% of the cost of the service to be rendered.

Media Release Policy: Turning Tails Pet Company, Ltd aims to provide a quality service to its community. As such, we like to share pictures, comments, etc. to aid in the community’s understanding of the services provided by Turning Tails Pet Company, Ltd. Owners will have the ability to to approve use of this information.

Alternate Pick-Up/Drop-Off Policy: Turning Tails Pet Company, Ltd understands that there may be occasions where it is necessary for another individual trusted by the dog owner to pick-up or drop-off a dog to our care. These individuals must be specified and consent provided in order to allow someone other than the owner noted to pick-up/drop-off your dog.

Group Play Policy: Turning Tails Pet Company, Ltd allows one-on-one time for supervised let-outs throughout the day while being boarded in the facility. Unless otherwise requested, multiple-pet households will have shared let-out times. Shared let-out times with dogs outside of the household are only permitted with expressed permission of both dog owners. 

Daycare Policies: Turning Tails Pet Company, Ltd conducts socialization assessments and strives to create a safe group play environment to prevent altercations during group play.  Owners will remain responsible for the actions of their dog(s) at all times and holds harmless Turning Tails Pet Company, Ltd of any and all claims of injury, expense, costs, or damages caused by the actions of my dog while engaged in group play activities.

All dogs being considered for group play must be current on all required vaccinations to participate in group play activities.

Grooming Policy: Grooming provided to an elderly dog or dog with health problems may have negative consequences for the dog. Owners authorize such services at their own risk. Turning Tails Pet Company, Ltd is authorized to assess the need for safe and humane removal of mats. Dematting/thinning hair may cause patchiness and hair loss and owners must consent to such services. Owners will also have to give permission for shaving/stripping of my dog’s coat and acknowledge that this service may expose preexisting skin conditions.

Turning Tails Pet Company, Ltd is authorized to provide basic bathing services to my dog should they have issues with continence and soil their belongings. There may be charges for these services.
